The controversial Uptown Project sounds like it will be eight stories
(9 by the city's counting), not the original 12 (13), according to
today's Council vote.
The condo building will drop from 148 feet to 112 feet high.
Voting no: Ostrow, Zerby, Goodman and Lane. Rybak said the council
could've done better (gotten the building lower).
I should note that my prediction from the git-go was the developers
would propose 12 as a way to get 8 in an area zoned for 4.
