First, why do both 8th Ward candidates Elizabeth Glidden and Marie Hauser claim endorsements from MN NOW PAC and the MN Women's Political Caucus? Were there duel-endorsements and they are both pretending it's just them?
Yes, MnNOW did dual (not duel) endorsements. Both candidates were rated "A" by MnNOW, and the organization specifically states that this rating allows a candidate to say they were "endorsed" by MnNOW and use their name in campaigning. (MnNOW 'rates' candidates for how well they follow the organizations' principals; they do not do endorsement contests pitting them against each other.)
