It has never been a bastion of crime and thanks to the cities policy of concentration it never will. You sleep gently at night without fear that bullets will fly through your windows..... It's like Greg Reinhardt said "when you are the victim of a violent crime, one is too many".

This is not about RT vs Peter....what I would like to comment on is *when you are the victim of a violent crime, one is too many*. Have any of you heard about the robber in the Tangletown area , S 50th st., who robs homes during the day. He holds a gun to the victim's head. Do they not pay taxes for police protection? Do they not feel pain and fright like people on the North side, Phillips or Powderhorn? Aren't they the lucky ones tho, not in a concentrated area of crime. Oh excuse me robber, you are on the wrong side of town...just take the gun out of my face and let me call you a cab...

No one knows what a person has gone through and it is so easy to say...you live on the south side so you don't have to worry. The girl who was beaten up...south side, so had to wait for the police because they were busy on the Northside. Is she not as deserving? Crime is crime, victims are victims....pain is pain and it crosses all boundaries

I would love to see the Northside, Phillips, and Powderhorn void of crime and soon... so all the neighborhoods can get their police back and we ALL can sleep gently at night wherever and whomever we are..
