Okay. THIS story is in the Skyway News... August 15-21 issue

"A Porcelain Library Prepares for Change" it about Frank's plumbing
on the corner of Washington and 11th downtown...which has been
in it's present location for 60 years!

Although it will be moving rather than going out of business, if
you have not been there it's worth a look...crammed with all
sorts of plumbing stuff, from the unique, to the humble, to the
antique...and lots of old stained glass windows.

It's crumbling a bit and covered in soot, the upper floors
have busted windows and pigeon tenants and there's
a ghost sign on one side advertising an undertaker,
and the date "1883" and the word "Day Block"
carved at the pinnacle point facing the avenue.

It's the sole grungy, industrial, secret treasure
hold out building left in the neighborhood.

Developmentitis has spread with inexorable gentrified
oppressiveness...all over the place.

Down the street...the wood stove store Woodland has
just moved out and the Twin City Florist Supply...another
old building that was bursting with silk flowers, ribbons,
and glass vases appears to be finally out of business.

It's all getting too pretty and too shiny.
