On a more exciting note! The Bean Scene on Broadway and Penn has once again won the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America)Golden Cup award! They are the only coffeehouse in Minnesota that has won this award, and they are right here in Minneapolis. This is their 2nd time in winning it, and it is an achievement of having really, really good coffee. Stop in and congratulate Mr. Dean Rose and Ms. Linda Baker and the rest of their wonderful staff, and try the award winning coffee. Those who like pale, weak brew need not try..If your favorite Minneapolis Neighborhood coffeehouse has weak coffee, tell the owners to go try the brew at the Bean Scene, and to not be afraid to make good strong coffee.
