The leading mayoral candidates approve of spending 1.1 billion dollars over thirty years (figures from the Minnesota Dept. of Revenue) for a new stadium for one of the richest multi billionaires in the world when we are cutting funds for education, medical research, libraries, fire and police protection, etc., when the taxes on our homes are skyrocketing. Neither have been endorsed by the DFL even tho their signs and literature imply they are. Both are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on lawn signs, stickers and sound bites to get their names out there but not the details on how they stand on the issues. Neither one seem concerned about skyrocketing taxes on our homes, the increasing traffic congestion, air pollution and probably most important, global warming. I'm spending about $1500 to detail specifically what we can and must do to reduce taxes and reduce our contribution to traffic congestion, pollution and greenhouse gasses. Visit my web site.
Sincerely, Don Johnson, Candidate for Mayor, 3808 Grand Ave So. Minneapolis, MN 55409 (612) 824 1111 _www.DonJohnsonMayor.org_ (http://www.donjohnsonmayor.org/) REMINDERS: 1. Be civil!
