Which public employees are eligible for Metro Pass?
Are all city of Minneapolis employees?
Are all Minneapolis library employees?
Are Minneapolis public school employees?
Are Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board employees?
Could the city require employers recieiving any form
of public subsidy from the city to offer metro pass as
a benefit?
What about contractors contracted to do work or
perform services in the city?
What about county government employees?
It seems to me that it is in all our interests for
more people to utilize our metrotransit systems rather
than drive individually to and from work. Metro Pass
offers universal acces 24/7 so also helps increase
ridership in off peak times for trips other than
commuting.
