Savage, if anything, is entertaining. For nearly every question he started
with "I'm Harry Savage and I'm running for City Council" which I think
the audience had long ago figured out.

Best moment for me came when Mr. Moore questioned that Mr. Savage's proposal
of a
"Giuliani style crackdown on crime" might not be the best idea because of
the police brutality that has occurred in NY. Mr. Savage ended his reply to
this assertion by stating "you can't make an omelet without breaking some
eggs."
This is probably not the best quote for a conservative Democrat to use
(especially on the subject of brutality) given it was coined in the 1930s by
a New York Times reporter to justify Stalin's systematic starvation of
Ukrainians.
