At least I actually answered your question Jim, which is more than you can say. I could list all kinds of individual volunteers besides, but you wouldn't recognize hardly any of their names, so what's the point? Personally, I think there's a lot to be said for the fact that there's a large number of politicians who have worked with both Rybak and McLaughlin and have chosen to support Rybak. In addition to the county-level folks, which is intriguing enough, there seems to be an awful lot of south Minneapolis politicians who presumably have worked with and know McLaughlin pretty well and still chose to support Rybak. I ask again, why is that? Additionally, I'd ask why is that that the only folks McLaughlin can seem to draw for supporters are the ones who have or will have their hands out should he be elected? I mean, you've got the public employee unions, the bar owners and God knows who else lined up already. And I wonder, if McLaughlin gets elected, where will his loyalties lie? Will it lie with the taxpaying residents of Minneapolis or with all these groups that will be lining up to cash in on whatever was promised to them? Mark Snyder Windom Park REMINDERS: 1. Be civil!
