Minneapolis Folks, I had just enough time to review the contributors A through C, of McLaughlin for Mayor.
It is a who's, who, of Old Guard, Minnesota Twins, Developers, Northwest Airlines, PAC and lobbyist that have done very well for themselves over the years with our tax payer dollars. Many of these people have secured literally tens of millions of dollars from past administrations. Others like the Minnesota Twins are counting on securing millions in the future. So just a taste of McLaughlin for Mayor's special interest contributors. I have other things to do tonight, it looks like it is a fulltime job to review all the special interests hoping to get their hands on more taxpayer dollars. Alfton former Minneapolis City Attorney $300 Developers Jack Boarman, Boarman Kroos Vogel Group (Lagoon Mixed Development Project) $500 Mary Pat Boarman (Jacks spouse) $500 Harold Brandt Real estate, frequent and generous donor to former Mayor Sharon Sayles Belton. As a Brookfield executive has helped to lobby the city for $37 million loan for block E, tried to get out of paying off $ 11.3 million for Gavidae. I am not sure what the final resolution was but he received lots of taxpayer dollars under the past mayor. Richard Copeland, Thor Construction, projects include the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, and Minneapolis Convention Center, Richard Brustad, Brighten Development. Has been involved in numerous housing development projects in the city of Minneapolis. Mostly condominiums, lofts, homes. $300 PAC money Best & Flanagan specializes in municipal law representing corporate and individual clients in government-related real estate matters such as land development, zoning, and real estate tax. $300 Lobbyists John F.
