Renewable energy technology and conservation could bring cleaner air and wealth to Minneapolis. Cancer is now the leading cause of death in Minneapolis and the cancer rate is accelerating at 14% a year according to the Cancer Center at HCMC. The accelerating crime rate is an important issue but far more people will die as a result of cancer caused in large part by polluted air.
