Good morning fellow Greens and supporters. The radar suggests that the rain is almost over. Last night the Zimmercampaign (and I suspect other campaigns) put out a ton o literature on car windshields. The rain has ruined the literature and left a big mess. This letter is a plea to all Greens and Zimmersupporters to go out early this morning and retrieve the ruined and soggy literature and recycle the paper or otherwise dispose of it. We still have more literature to put out early this morning, which can be done while picking up the soggy stuff. The most important task, however is to retrieve the soggy paper and dispose of it properly. If each of you would just do your block or a couple of surrounding blocks it would be a great help. I dont have access right now to all of my contacts, so I would appreciate it if you could please forward this plea to others. Peace, Dean Zimmermann Mpls City Council - Ward 6 2200 Clinton Ave S Mpls, MN 55404 Surely the most important task for all of us is to leave behind a planet that will sustain our great grandchildren. Good planets are hard to find. So, all of our personal actions as well as our political policies must be tempered with an eye to long-term sustainability, not short term profit or expediency.
