Yes, the as yet unsubstantiated allegations against Dean Zimmermann are a gift, to his opponent, who is endorsed by the DFL. Of course, an indictment, soon, like before the November election, would be an ever better gift. We certainly wouldn't want the US Attorney to admit he doesn't have the evidence, and to shut down the investigation before the general election in November, n'est-ce pas?
