The Children's Theatre Company invites you to our GRAND OPENING "OPEN HOUSE" ON OCTOBER 8TH AND 9TH. The basics of the schedule are as follows: Saturday, October 8, starting at 9:30am- There will be a childrens' parade through the neighborhood (starts at Yummy parking lot, then goes east on 24th street, south on Third Avenue to CTC/MIA circle drive). A dedication and "Unwrapping" of the new building takes place between 9:45 am and 10:30am. Self guided tours will be from 10:30am until 4pm. A teen "electric guitar orchestra" (EGO) will play on the new Cargill Stage at 8 and 10pm. (tickets are $5.00)
Sunday, October 9: You may tour the building from 11:00am until 3:00 pm. The EGO plays again at 2pm. Renowned speaker on creativity and imagination, Sir Kenneth Robinson, will speak at 7pm. (Tickets are free for Ken Robinson, but you must make a reservation at 874-0400).
