Can anyone provide (or direct me to) a nutshell description of the political history of the various precincts in Ward 8? I am new to the area (I live in 8-8) and don't yet have a grasp on its politics. FWIW, I didn't have any experience with doorknockers, but my roommate told me that Marie Hauser stopped by at least once. She also had many more signs in our neighborhood than the other candidates.
