I assume it crashed because of the Vikings Sex Cruise story. Regarding the new web site, I think the new layout and graphics work well for the casual news reader. However, for a hardcore news reader like me, I prefer a "Print Edition" version similar to what is available on the Washington Post web site. I like to go through a newspaper web site as if I was reading the actual newspaper starting with page one: list of stories with short description, national news: list of stories with short description, and metro news: list of stories with short descriptions, etc. The true test will be how the site treats breaking stories and updates current stories.
