As long as we're educating ourselves, we might want to look at the
statement about the number of women involved in this art form. The
presence of women, it is implied, means that the music, or rather the
lyrics one might suppose, are not about disappointment in love or blood
and guts and gore.
Disappointment, meanness, and violence are evenly distributed throughout
the human community. It is only the way it is expressed that changes.
