I'm really shocked that a kudo's to 4 minorities, who clearly excelled on the 
Lietenants test, to ranks in the top five, turned into this. I clearly stated 
that if a White male was # 5, that would be a good thing and it turned into a 
discussion of moral character about the top 4 candidates.

Michelle Hill responds:
Would this really be an issue of Affirmative Action? It would be different if 
they did not rank in the top 4 slots, but instead ranked in the last 4 slots 
and were promoted over others. That would not be the case here, would it? 
Where does discrimination come into play if you went through the same process 
and 
are "are equal in qualifications"?

I now feel sorry for the top 4 candidates. Even when they win they lose.
