As far as that goes, I wonder about Park Board Reform emails also. Both
myself and my co-worker, who lives in Dakota County, have received the
Reform blurbs at home and neither of us have signed up for anything remotely
connected to their cause or endorsed candiates using home email.

But what makes me wonder... The only other election-related email that comes
to both of our our homes is from the Rybak campaign. And again, neither of
us have ever signed up for his campaign. "Co-worker" carefully guards her
relatively new home email address, and hasn't ever given it to any political
cause or list below the national level (during last year's Pres election.)
In my case, I may have used my home email when attending precinct caucuses
last spring. Then again, I do not receive the PIP emails at home. Just Rybak
and Park Board Reform.

I'm guessing that Barry is correct. Any good market-savy campaign would do
the same. I'd further guess that it is not illegal to sell an email
database unless your organization has a specific policy stating otherwise.
