-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Brad Hartmann Sent: Thursday, October 27, 2005 6:34 PM To: Mpls Forum Subject: [Mpls] Lilligren clarifies and corrects the record I was pleased to see a letter from Council Member Lilligren in the new issue of Lavender Magazine. This is in response to Dean Zimmerman's erroneous and careless statements he made in an article from the previous issue of Lavender regarding CM Lilligren's City Hall record on GLBT issues and the Sixth Ward race.
[This message forwarded to the Mpls. Issues list on behalf of the Dean Zimmermann, Ward 6 campaign. - Jenny Heiser, Whittier] Brad (and Robert Lilligren vis a vis his Lavender Magazine 'Letter To The Editor'), Robert either spoke at the City Council meeting for equal benefits for spouses/partners, or he didn't. Which is it? Minneapolis City Council proceedings are a matter of public record. Speaking of "misinformation," what about Bob's regarding the Wendy's vote? October 22 Bob told the Stevens Square candidate forum TWICE that he voted against the Wendy's project on E. Franklin and Clinton Avenues. According to the official Minneapolis City Council minutes for May 13, 2005 he was ABSENT from both votes taken on Wendy's. The voters deserve the truth about his record. The only thing inaccurate about Bob's record is his version of it! Lauren Maker www.votedeanzimmermann.org Down-to-Earth Leadership For A Greener Minneapolis!
