An excellent post by Ron Werner, plainly stating what is obvious to most: that this playing field is a great deal for the entire city of MPLS, an opportunity for one of those rare win-wins for all involved. I stand by my earlier comments about the opposition to this field and won't rehash them here, other than to reiterate that this debate has little or nothing to do with DeLaSalle, and has always been about keeping people and activity off of the island. I also agree with Ron that the current board should be commended for ignoring all the noise and doing the right thing.
