Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" has discontinued its relationship with the Fitzgerald Theatre in downtown St. Paul effective January 1, 2006. Keillor is looking to move the show to other venues. The Orpheum and State Theatres in downtown Minneapolis have been mentioned. It would be quite a boon to downtown Minneapolis to have the PHC crowd in on a regular basis and would certainly help cement a Minneapolis Theatre District.
