Sierra Club has a well-established process for doing endorsements. Regardless of the process, the number of people on the committee, or other sincere efforts to do so, the Political Committee could never speak for each and every Club member. There are about 5,000 or so SC members in Minneapolis, very few of whom are likely to have always agreed with all of the Club's endorsements and positions on issues. I doubt very much that there are only four Club members out there who disagree with the Club's Mayoral endorsement. That would simply be unrealistic.
I don't think this discussion was originally intended to be about Sierra Club. I think it was about the candidates running for office and their positions on issues. The election is Tuesday, folks.
