with names, if I had a nickel for every time someone screwed up my first
name--I still couldn't afford to live in Linden Hills.

My name is Melanie Pogatchnik.
I have lived in the Folwell neighborhood for the last 12 years
I have worked for the City of Minneapolis for 11 years
Six of those years I was a Housing Inspector and currently am ...
I am a single mother of three children
All of my children attend Minneapolis public schools
My family is not that different from other families in this Ward
We have had to deal with issues such as people hanging out, children
with nothing to do or nowhere to go, crime, litter, getting answers from
City of Minneapolis employees or bureaucrats.
We need to deal with these issues together!
I will not pretend to know it all but I am knowledgeable in some of the
workings of this City and would like to help others work their way through
the red tape.
If you give me a chance to represent you I will do my best to have you heard
and make this Ward more of a community.
