Minneapolis Police Department is being charged, again, with discrimination based on race against a POST certified applicant. Even though the complaint was introduced on October 28th, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission served Police Department with a Notice of Charge Of Discrimination on November 1st, we found out today, as we were trying to get a statement from the Department, that MPD has no statement to make on this case. We were informed by Officer Ron Reier, MPD's Spokesman that he knows nothing about the case and our inquiry was sent to Chief Deputy Don Harris who never answered our email nor made any statement.
