If they are supporting a candidate, then yes, absolutely.  But 503cs are
allowed to do some advocacy on, for example, referendums.  I just don't
get this "churches should stay out of politics" thing.  As a person of
faith, it is my calling to be active in our world, advocating for
justice and bringing about real change.  I can no more change that
about myself than I can change the color of my eyes.  It's a fundamental
part of who I am.

Churches were very active in passing the living wage ordinance.  Should
they lose their nonprofit status over that?
