And while I respect the timelines and formal processes of Stonewall DFL as
theirs to control, when an announced DFL candidate for office like
Tinklenberg uses his very first press conference to express views that are
unfriendly to GLBT citizens, it is unfortunate we have a span of months for
such a candidate to fundraise and build support before we hear a direct
response from the Stonewall caucus. I can only hope that Tinklenberg's
views might moderate by January, or that he'll be receptive to input from
our friends in the Stonewall caucus.
