Interested in transportation issues? Attend a workshop where you can share
your ideas about how to improve Minneapolis' transportation system. The
workshop will be held:
    6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005
East Side Neighborhood Services, 1700 2nd St. NE (Bus Route #11)

Those who attend the workshop will get an overview of Access Minneapolis, the
City's 10-Year Transportation Plan, and information on the transportation
challenges facing the city. This is the fourth workshop the City has sponsored
this fall to get input into the plan.
When finished the 10-Year Transportation Action Plan will address a full
range of transportation options and issues, including pedestrians, bicycles,
transit, automobiles, and freight. It also will include additional resources,
such as a Web-based transportation fact book; a transit and street operations
plan for downtown; and new street design guidelines that reflect the
characteristics of the surroundings.
You do not need to pre-register to attend. You are encouraged to arrive on
time since the workshop includes a presentation on transportation challenges
and is followed by structured dialogue.

Upon request, the City will provide reasonable accommodations those with
disabilities or who need a translator. Please submit such requests or requests
for additional information to Charleen Zimmer, Project Manager, at 612-673-3166
or [EMAIL PROTECTED] as soon as possible.
