Something to think about/Omar Jamal
  I boarded an ATA airline last night from Chicago to Minneapolis at 9:30pm
with real utensils. As I was preparing to have dinner with a friend by the
airport, I noticed the time was getting late for the flight, and we asked the
waiter to make my dinner to go. He gave me my box along with the utensils:
knife, fork and spoon, real ones.
  I went through the security check in Chicago, midway airport, and run to the
flight before they close the gate. I finally boarded the flight, and it took
off. After being in the air for almost half an hour, one of the hostesses come
up to my seat and asked me if the utensils were real ones. I told her that they
were. It created a bit of uproar on the flight.
  I thought they would have radioed to Minneapolis/St Paul airport feds;
however, it did not happen. After I got off, I simply proceeded to friend to
take me home, and for those utensils now, they are my own personal use at home.
