Bobbee,
May be related to person at middle party who I called after not hearing
from him for weeks about a position. He said "Oh, we decided not to submit
you. Yes, your resume had MVS Internals, S/390 assembler, C, multi-tasking,
TCP/IP, some MQ, DB2/ESQL/CAF, RACF/SAF and CICS/EXCI, etc. but the client
specifically wanted JCL experience which was NOT on your resume!"
You think he would have mentioned such a glaring deficiency during the
initial phone inteview. Well, at least he didn't pronounce it JCL's!
{chuckle}
I should have told my Windows/PC stuff didn't include *.BAT and my unix
didn't include shell scripts. Sheesh!
Of course, spot was filled by then. sigh. - Jim Keohane
