Subject: MQSeries was unable to open a message catalog to display an error
message for message id 20068118, for........................
We are performing Business Recovery Testing. During our normal overnight
backup strategy, we shut down our queue managers then back up the MQSeries
filesystems to tape.
During our recovery testing we restored the previously backed up file
systems to the backup server. We did not install MQSeries from the
installation media.
When we attempted to start a queue manager (strmqm) we received the
following error:
MQSeries was unable to open a message catalog to display an error message
for message id 20068118, for........................
The Backup server has the same name as the primary server
All file systems were restored.
No file systems are full.
The kernel parameters are identical on both machines.
The mqm userid and group exist on the backup server. The profile file is
identical to that on the primary server.
We are running HP-UX blahblah B.11.00 A 9000/800 184971527 two-user license
MQSeries is V5.2 CSD2
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt Gurney
