This is not true. The MQ Version 1 products were a modification of the EZ-Bridge product but the IBM products (Version 2 and onwards) were not, in any way, related to the EZ-Bridge products. The EZ-Bridge product was used purely for time to market reasons not design. The IBM products did borrow some code (like loggers) from other areas of IBM but on the whole it was designed and written from the ground up here in Hursley. If you don't believe me try using a version 1 product and then use the IBM version 2 product. It is quite clear they are not from the same development group. Cheers, P.
