Gang,
Over the past weekend I upgraded one of my NT 4.0 servers from MQ5.2
to MQ5.3. This server is a shared application server with multiple groups
running applications on it, many using MQ. One application starting throwing
the following error as soon as it started trying to process messages coming
from a main frame in our environment. This is the only application that is
experiencing this trouble yet most of the apps running on this server get
their data from the mainframe via MQ. I have never heard of the MQSTR.dll,
nor did it exist before the upgrade. The CCSID's are correct as far as I can
tell, 500 for the main frame and 437 for the NT. I am confused. Can anyone
shed some light on this for me. TIA.
