Quick question... Concerning NPMSPEED, the Intercommunication manual states that "Note: If the other end of the channel does not support the option, the channel runs at normal speed."
What about if the other end *supports* the option but is set to NPMSPEED(NORMAL)? Do both sides need to specify NPMSPEED(FAST) to make the channel fast or is it sufficient for either side to specify FAST?
