The support pac is different to the Veritas MQ Agent in how it recommends setting up
the shared files etc. I'm in the process of setting this up myself using the MQ Agent
from Veritas.

If you haven't got it already download the Installation Manual from here:
http://ftp.support.veritas.com/pub/support/products/ClusterServer_UNIX/

There is a prettier web page but I can't find it at the moment. Get document
265092.pdf - it explains everything you need to do.

Cheers,
Paul

Look at the SupportPac dealing with this.

We are using MQ 5.3 on Solaris 8. Currently getting ready to install Veritas
MQ Agent for fail over. I'm wondering if anyone have used the same and how
did you create the QMGR on the 2nd ( standby server)? Do you create a QMGR
with the same name or do you use a unique name? Thanks,
