Javier, "good" channel states are (generally) "RUNNING" and "INACTIVE". Unfortunately "INACTIVE" is not a real state, but only the missing of any states other then "RUNNING".
So (e. g. with "runmqsc"), the messages "AMQ8420: Channel Status not found." is "good" as well as a number of "RUNNING" channel. E. g. the following (Unix shell) command should have an empty output (replace <your_qmgr> by the name of your QMgr): echo "dis chs(*)" | runmqsc <your_qmgr> | grep STATUS | grep -v RUNNING Regards Hubert > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > Von: MQSeries List <[email protected]> > Gesendet: 23.11.06 14:55:34 > An: [email protected] > Betreff: cluster channels and monitoring > how to monitor cluster channel state. > they are created dynamically? > > ********************************************************************** > > This e-mail may contain confidential material.
