Javier,

"good" channel states are (generally) "RUNNING" and "INACTIVE". Unfortunately 
"INACTIVE" is not a real state, but only the missing of any states other then 
"RUNNING".

So (e. g. with "runmqsc"), the messages "AMQ8420: Channel Status not found." is 
"good" as well as a number of "RUNNING" channel.

E. g. the following (Unix shell) command should have an empty output (replace 
<your_qmgr> by the name of your QMgr):

echo "dis chs(*)" | runmqsc <your_qmgr> | grep STATUS | grep -v RUNNING
