I actually started with a google search on the cygwin and rrd-developers
mail list without luck.
I have tried these commands, but unfortunately still get the same errors.
Any ideas ?

In general, the commands
CFLAGS='-DALL_STATIC -g' ./configure
make && make install
should help.
