OS FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE gmake 3.79.1 gcc gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD] configure used only --prefix to install in non system path binary uses only system libm and libc libraries librrd.a in rrdtool-1.1.0/lib The problem system is not a server nor is stressed in any other way.
