Hi Leen,

The graphs show averages. This results in losing the highs and lows.
If you want to keep track of the maximum values you can add the
'WithPeak[...]: ymw' in your config file.

Hth,

Jan.

Subject: [mrtg] Graphs get smaller over time??

Hi Guys!

Ive been running MRTG for some days now on our pix to get the total
bandwidth usage, but i noticed that the weekly, monthly and yearly graph
get smaller, compared to the daily graph. (see
http://193.172.16.239/pix/outside2.html ) As you can see there, there is
obivous more traffic then allowed on a daily basis, but if i look at the
monthly graph, all the values are below the set limit (not to mention
the yearly one)? Is this something i can fixed in the config files?? or
is this normal, since its 'averaging' the values?

Any light on this would be greatly appreciated!

(PS, yes, its in dutch, but the order of the graphs are the same dwmy
::))
