I have got some scrip to monitor the SQUID stats but i am not able to
understad how to use it if cany one can help me out of it?

The scripts used to produce these graphs are contained in this archive. There
are four files: cron.sh is run regularly from cron. This script places logged
data into subdirectories organized by date. It first calls Perl/poll.pl to
extract the vitals data from a set of running caches. Next it calls
Perl/splitem.pl which munges the data into separate files suitable for input to
Gnuplot. These files are read by vitals-graph.cgi, which is called as a CGI
program on your web server.
In addtion to the above files, you will also need to have the following
packages installed:
a.. Perl
b.. gnuplot
c.. Netpbm; at least ppmchange and ppmtogif
Warning! Its not pretty, but it works.
