Joe,
Did you set the thresholds directory in your config? I'm not
familiar with that version but in 2.9.29 you need to set the thresholds
directory for it to work properly.
In my global section I have:

Threshdir: c:\mrtg\thresholds

Then I run my scripts from there as well. It's not necessary that you do
though.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [mrtg] Help for threshold checking?

Hello!

I am running MRTG 2.9.17 on NT platform.

Can it set Threshold on this version?

I have added the following command in the mrtg.cfg.

When the ThreshMaxI reached, it didn't take the action on ThreshProgI.

ThreshMinI[IFC1]: 5%

ThreshMaxI[IFC1]: 70%

ThreshProgI[IFC1]: C:\mrtg\thre_in.bat

ThreshProgOKI[IFC1]: C:\mrtg\thre_oki.bat

The content of thre_in.bat is listed below:

Echo $1 $2 $3 > C:\mrtg\threshold.log

Any flaws in my mrtg.cfg or thre_in.bat?

Could be appreciated if anyone can help to setup threshold.

Thanks.

Regards,

Joe Lo
