Look in /doc/cfgmaker.txt $if_type This is an integer specifying the interface type as per the SNMP standards and as reported by the polled device. A complete list of interface types would be impractical for this document , but there are a number predefined varables below. Normally, cfgmaker puts in the target's PageTop this iftype value within paranthesis after the name of the interface type. (e.g ``propPointToPointSerial (22)''). Here's a list of some of the most common interface types by number:
