Yep, you can. If you're integrated with RRDTool, you can do a fetch for the time period straight out of the RRD and redirect into a text file.
If you're not, you can grab the information from the log file. Check the the MRTG documention for how to read the log files. Hope that helps, Corey. -----Original Message----- From: Usman Ali [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: November 5, 2003 5:07 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [mrtg] Text format Output ? Hi, Is it possible to get MRTG output in Text format, instead of PNG graphs ? Actually, I am trying to record different values from these graphs in an excel worksheet for 'Capacity Planning'. And I need to get continuous daily usage values of my network. I am thinking on lines: if I could get text format output (or file from which MRTG plotted these graphs), I could get the values I am interested in, put them in Excel file and use. I would appericiate if someone could tell me any other way of doing this. Thanks, Usman __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Protect your identity with Yahoo!
