Hi,
I'm getting the dreaded no response received message when running
cfgmaker on a redhat9 server targetting another redhat9 server. I have checked
that snmpd is running on the target box:
/etc/init.d/snmpd status
snmpd (pid 8791) is running...
and I can also see the traffic hitting the target box
Nov 11 14:51:33 localhost net-snmp[8546]: Connection from 10.0.0.1
Nov 11 14:51:33 localhost net-snmp[8546]: Received SNMP packet(s) from 10.0.0.1
Nov 11 14:51:33 localhost net-snmp[8546]: Connection from 10.0.0.1
Nov 11 14:52:09 localhost last message repeated 14 times
I have also checked that the community name is correct.
I am not that familiar with using the net-snmp utils for diagnosing the problem
as MRTG has always worked out of the box for me.
Anyone give me any pointers?
Dave
