need a sanity check - i inherited some MRTG vlan config files and noticed they 
are multiplying each value by 8 and also are using the "bits" option - isnt 
this essentially multiplying the gathered value by 16?  - see example below

# SLMRSM1 VLAN10 Desktop  Network 
Target[salem-vlan10a]: 
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.44.5&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.45.5:[EMAIL PROTECTED] * 8
MaxBytes[salem-vlan10a]: 12500000
Options[salem-vlan10a]: bits
