What is the practiacl limit on ports, or routers that MRTG running on an NT box? I have 37 routers, with many ports on each. I would like to monitor most if not all of them. I have an idea of how I would like to do it. Each on my 6 techs are responsible for about 6 schools. My idea is to run 7 instances of MRTG with an index of the servers assigned to each tech, and the last one to monitor the backbone, and Groupwise. If it would be better, I can move it to a Linux box, which is much more powerfull. I just am not a Linux Guru, so for testing took the easy way out, and put it on an NT box.
Any idea how others do it, would be appreciated.
