Someone e-mailed me suggesting that SNMP wasn't running or the machine was not on. Neither is the case - device is up, SNMP is operational. oddball:~ $ snmpwalk <DEVICE> <PASSWORD> system.sysDescr.0 = Hardware: x86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 1 AT/AT COMPATIBLE - Software: Windows 2000 Version 5.1 (Build 2600 Uniprocessor Free) .....
