Hello, Is it possible to use mrtg to log networktraffic of an network interface in a computer running Red Hat 7.3 , it has only one physical interface (eth0). I don't have access to the router to which it's connected.
I have 3 virtual interfaces eth0:0,eth0:1,eth0:2 eth0:0 is ip xxx.xxx.xx1 eth0:1 is ip xxx.xxx.xx2 eth0:2 is ip xxx.xxx.xx3 I want to log all outgoing and incoming traffic for each interface and per port basis. So eth0:0 has ip xxx.xxx.xx1 and it accepts connecions on port xxx1 also on that same ip xxx.xxx.xx1 there's network traffic on port xxx2 This is for all virtual interfaces only other ip's and other ports. I need totals of this traffic per day and per month and per year. What do i need to solve this? PS . sorry for my bad English , am Dutch Thanks in advance Peter Mees mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ----------------------------------------------------- This email and any attached files are confidential and may be legally privileged.
