When I try to start MRTG with a config file that specifies "Forks: 8" I
get

Use of uninitialized value in vec at /usr/bin/mrtg line 2040.
Use of uninitialized value in vec at /usr/bin/mrtg line 2043.

I saw this in a google search as being an issue with perl 5.6 but I have
5.8 (emerged on Gentoo Linux).

Is there something about the building of perl I need to do to get my
forking back?

Nick
