I do tons of stuff with the Windows Performance Counter. -----Original Message----- From: John Hamil [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2004 3:03 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [mrtg] Re: Win 2000 MRTG setup WMI... is that WMI Administrative Tools? I installed it and wow there is a lot of information here. I am not really sure where to look to try and find the CPU Usage and Memory Usage... Any tips you can give me about this software? Thanks, John >>> William Owen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2/9/2004 3:30:23 PM >>> If you are monitoring from a win2k or better box, might I suggest using WMI to monitor your box. MRTG with SNMP will do great things for your Ethernet interfaces, but past that, MS likes to change OID instance names of important things like Processors and Memory. WMI will alleviate this issue. That and you can track and graph any variable you can get from WMI. -----Original Message----- From: John Hamil [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 09, 2004 2:06 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [mrtg] Win 2000 MRTG setup I am having problems with my config for MRTG. Its on a windows 2000 server with SNMP installed. Right now Only 2 pages are being generated. There should be 7 or 8 of them... Will anyone help me get this working? I know there are a lot of people out there having trouble setting up MRTG on a windows system and getting out more then just the traffic...
